Pray.
Become familiar with Mercy Ministries of Canada and commit to pray for the ministry.
Decide to participate.
You have a story to tell about why Mercy Ministries of Canada matters to you. Choose a Sunday in the month of February to participate in Dollar 4 Mercy. Consider asking a Mercy Ministries advocate to come to your church to set up a resource table and be available to answer questions. We’re also happy to do the presentation for you!
Register your church.
Download, print and fill out this form and mail it in to us at Mercy Ministries of Canada, 19465 16 Ave. Surrey, B.C. V2S 9V2. You can also register online here.
Promote Dollar 4 Mercy.
Post about Mercy on your church website. List it under your church events. Promote it in the church bulletin and from the pulpit. Include our church bulletin insert for a few weeks leading up to your Dollar 4 Mercy Sunday.
Pray and prepare.
We are committed to make this an easy experience for you so we have prepared a short 6 minute video to be shown as well as talking points and a church bulletin. Pray, go over the presentation, work with your church leadership to see if any of our other resources (like suggested special music or a testimony) may come in handy, practice and pray.
Present Dollar 4 Mercy!
Your church is making a very real difference, impacting generations through one
life! Celebrate the love you have for these precious women and give joyfully together to see lives transformed and hope restored. Share your 10-15 minute presentation about Mercy Ministries of Canada during the service. Be aware that you may be speaking to a young woman in the crowd struggling – you are a voice of hope for her as well.
Collect a special Dollar 4 Mercy offering.
Ask everyone in your church to give one dollar per person. (If they write a cheque, ask that they make it out to your church.) Then add up all of the loonies, write one cheque and then send it in to Mercy Ministries of Canada.
The following Sunday, share a quick update.
Share with your community about what happened last Sunday, why it was important, who it impacted and what you were able to give towards Mercy Ministries of Canada as a church.
